Outlining the User Experience.

After developing our user personas, we needed a way to visualize emotional reactions to key tasks related to social gaming. In order to best represent the user’s emotional high and lows, we created a user journey map, while keeping in mind the feeling, thinking, and doing aspects of the user personas. We started by listing and categorizing touchpoints. Then, we mapped the touchpoints to user emotions.

Once we completed the user journey map, we were able to gauge what direction to take the project and establish design requirements next.
