Conveying the User Experience.

Storyboards drawn from use-case scenarios can be used in the formative stages of the UCD process, by conveying current issues or experiences that users may have, or during the summative phase, by helping to contextualize and evaluate ideas. For our team, it proved helpful to use storyboards as a generative technique to imagine different solutions for our problem space.

Importantly, while low-fidelity (lo-fi) prototypes and sketches cannot often convey the experience of a design in use, storyboards can. Thus, storyboards and use-case scenarios were essential to our identification and organization of necessary features, as well as the eventual construction of our information architecture.
